B.2 Co-Presenter Policy
Under almost all circumstances, presentations may only be given by one speaker. For reasons of time and cohesiveness, joint presentations are highly discouraged, are not viewed favourably in the review process and are only approved in rare and exceptional circumstances.
Knowing the policy above, do you intend to include co-presenter?*
Conference organiser policy allows for co-presenters in only a very narrow set of circumstances, when justification has been well defined and an additional speaker adds clear and measurable value to the presentation and the conference programme, which would be impossible with a single speaker. If you think the presentation cannot be given by only one speaker and the co-presenter proposal meets the criteria above, please complete the following:
Gender:*
Title:*
Area of Activity:*
Please describe the organisation in 2–3 sentences:*
Please justify below why you feel the proposal is an exception to the stated policy and how having a co-presenter will add clear and measurable value to the conference programme. Please remember that proposals submitted with co-presenters are viewed unfavourably during evaluation.*
B.2A Speakers and Roles
To ensure a diverse and varied conference agenda the organisers prefer not to include speakers more than once in the programme. You will have the opportunity to propose an alternate speaker should this situation arise.
Please note that all speakers are subject to approval by the conference organisers. Should this proposal be accepted and changes to the listed speakers be made at a later date, the conference organisers must confirm inclusion.

Due to the popularity of this field, a dedicated conference track - Business EDUCA - will be included in the conference programme, focusing on the application of themes to the challenges facing business today.
Business EDUCA is about getting things done in organisations. It’s not academic. It draws from practice, innovation and research and focuses on outputs in the workplace, rather than learning inputs.
We welcome papers from business organisations large and small, non-profit and bottom-line, that share practical experiences of how the conference themes impact your business and sector.
Case studies from organisations which are willing to share their own business’s journey with learning technologies are especially welcome.
In the next section of the proposal form, there is an opportunity to describe the content of the proposal. If the session should be considered for the Business EDUCA track, please keep the following additional evaluation criteria in mind:
- Does the proposal overview relate to the Business EDUCA audience?
- Will this proposal help other businesses looking to deliver results with learning technologies?
This is an interdisciplinary session and provides an opportunity for security professionals and providers of training packages from all over the world to meet and exchange ideas, information and experience. Delegates attending typically include senior military, police and emergency services officers, as well as defence and security planners and representatives of leading private sector organisations.
* There will be a pre-conference forum dedicated to this topic, please indicate whether you would also like to be considered for participation.
